Welcome to the Yorkshire Fatigue Clinic

We are a clinical assessment and rehabilitation service for people experiencing persistent fatigue. We specialise in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), but we also see people with fatigue related to other medical disorders.

Due to Dr Sue Pemberton retiring in 2023, the current NHS Service provided by Yorkshire Fatigue Clinic will be transferred to a new organisation in April 2023. This should not disrupt existing NHS patient care or new NHS referrals being accepted. However, due to staff shortages and the need to transition to an NHS only service we are no longer able to provide a service to self funding patients.

Our team has over 30 years’ experience working in this area within the National Health Service, having set up one of the first specialist NHS Services for ME/CFS in 1990.  We want to use our expertise to help you.

I have not come across anyone in the UK who is in the same league as Sue Pemberton as an Occupational Therapist for people with M.E. and similar chronic conditions.
Sir Peter Spencer, Chief Executive of Action for M.E. August 2012

Everyone is different, so when you come to the Yorkshire Fatigue Clinic we make an individual assessment of your health problems. We then decide together a treatment plan to meet your needs.
