Please be aware that some Sat Nav systems can give an incorrect postcode location so best advice is to use the street name.

By Car:

York Eco Business Centre is situated close to the York outer ring road (A1237) on Clifton Moor with easy links to/from M1/A1 via the A64/A59/A19 trunk roads.

From whichever direction you are coming to York you need to follow signs for the A1237 which is the ring road around York. The Ring Road has numerous roundabouts, keep going straight over each one.

From the West

Parking at York Eco Business Centre:

Visitors may use the designated visitor parking area opposite the Eco Centre main entrance however at peak times this may quickly fill. Alternatively nearby on-street parking is available in Amy Johnson Way, subject to restrictions. Please be aware that the centre car park is for permit holders and people with a disabled parking badge only. The car park is patrolled and fines can be issued.

Please allow enough time for your journey & parking. If there are you have any problems walking or have concerns about access to the Clinic but do not have a blue badge, please contact us in advance of your appointment as we may be able to offer a solution,

By Bus:

The Number 6 bus line runs from near York Railway Station or York Centre to Clifton moor, stopping near Tesco, Clifton moor or on Oakdale Road. It is then around an 8-10 minute walk (0.5 miles) from each stop to the centre.

From Tesco bus stop: with Tesco on your left and the Tesco fuel station on your right go straight ahead at the roundabout, onto Clifton Moor Gate, keeping Bella Italia on your left. Take the footpath/cycle path on the left just before Spitfire House, and follow the footpath around to the right. Turn left at the Aviator court roundabout and then turn left at the end onto Amy Johnson Way. You will see a sign saying ‘Halo’ ahead of you. Follow Amy Johnson Way until you reach green fencing and the York Eco business Centre is on your left, before Rat Race Adventure Sports.

From Oakdale Road: Alight outside the Tower Court Medical Centre. Walk to the main road – Clifton Moor Gate, and turn left. Take the first right – Kettlestring Lane, and the first road on the Left, Amy Johnson way. Follow Amy Johnson Way until you reach green fencing and the York Eco business Centre is on your left, before Rat Race Adventure Sports.

Taxis: Taxis are available at the station or may be reserved by calling Station Taxis 01904 623332 or locally to the Centre 01904 659659.

By Train:

There are regular trains direct to York from Leeds, Harrogate, Hull, Huddersfield, Wakefield, and many other places.  On exiting the station there is a taxi rank. To catch the bus turn left out of the station, follow the road a short distance and continue straight across at the traffic lights. There is then a bus stop from which you can get the Number 6 bus to Clifton Moor.

Once here

On weekdays please enter via the main entrance and sign in at reception. We will collect you at your appointment time. There is a seating area and toilets are available near reception and near our offices.

Our offices are on the first floor however there is lift access.

If you have any queries about how to find us, then please call us prior to your appointment so that we can try to assist you.

At weekends the reception area will not be open therefore access will be at the rear of the building. We will meet you at this door to let you in at your appointment time. We will put a sign on the right door where you need to meet us.

Transport costs

If you are funded to go to the Yorkshire Fatigue Clinic by the NHS, and you or your partner receive one of the qualifying benefits or meet the eligibility criteria of the NHS Low Income Scheme you may be able to claim a refund of reasonable travel costs under the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme (HTCS). As we do not have a Cashier option at the Clinic, you would need to complete the HC5(T) form http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcosts/Documents/2016/HC5(T).pdf  and then send the form to your NHS Clinical Commissioning Group. Please discuss this with us if you don’t know who this is.
